My name is Amanda VanHoose. I was born and raised in Mount Pleasant Michigan. I have lived in a few different places in central, western Michigan ( Clare, Evart, Remus, Mount Pleasant). So I am familiar with the areas. I have spent a lot of time camping in Harrison Lake State Area as well as in the upper peninsula in the Paradise, White Fish Point area.

I am engaged to a wonderful man that I feel is my true soulmate. My true flame. He drives me to be a better woman, wife and mother. I have an 18 year old daughter who is attending Central Michigan University in the fall for Graphic Design and plans to be on the Marching Band. We currently live in a tiny home, with 3 german shepherds, a pomchi, 4 cats and a turtle. We attend church every Sunday and are very active in our church groups, bible studies and events. I enjoy spending my time gardening, walking outdoors or anything where I can soak up the sun.

I have a masters degree in counseling, and 15 years experience working with the at risk population such as juveniles, alcoholics and addicts, as well as homeless individuals. I also have my license and 6 years in massage therapy.

The opportunity arose for me to pursue a career in real estate and I took it. I am one of those people that drives by a piece of land or a building and I daydream about what the layout is, potential for the land, and sometimes can even see people in the house. For example if its an old farmhouse, I can see my grandma in her apron in the kitchen.
