Reserve your seat now! WCAR has a bus going to Riding with the Brand Capital Day for Michigan Realtors is on June 6, 2023 in Lansing Michigan. Park and ride from the WCAR office. We will leave the parking lot at about 9 am to arrive at the Capital at about 10:45 am. We depart the Capital at about 2:20 pm to arrive at the association office around 4:15 pm. Snacks and beverages will be provided. REALTORS® will engage the Michigan Legislature during lunch on the Capitol Lawn with a featured program to promote the REALTOR® brand and highlight NAR resources. Staff will be available to take members on a tour of the newly refurbished Michigan Capitol. We will arrive in Lansing at about 10:45; check and name badge pick-up will begin at 11 o’clock. WCAR members will be able to view the recently refurbished Capitol grounds. A picnic lunch will be served on the lawn between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm. Members are encouraged to sit together by region in tents on the lawn. All Michigan Legislature will join us for lunch; joining us will be our constituents, discussing industry issues and providing insight on the local real estate market. At 1:30, there will be a short program, including a special guest from NAR. The program will highlight the value of Realtors®, the importance of real estate, industry professionalism, the memberships support of consumers and local communities, and our advocacy efforts. This is part of the Riding with the Brand campaign.
